No-exam life insurance

Eligibility rules for immediate approval, how the process works, and your next steps if you don't qualify.

Several carriers now offer same-day underwriting: for people in their age and amount window, computers evaluate applications, medication files, license checks, and more information instead of doctor visits. Many applicants get approval the same business day. Every quotation tells you whether that carrier skips exams, might want one, or always does.

What it changes

No exam doesn't equal no checking. Your information gets verified, and false statements can void policies within two years. The carrier might still ask for medical information if its own records seem questionable; you pick whether to go forward.

Who tends to qualify

Roughly those below sixty with coverage below the company limit, no prior health problems, and a tobacco-free year or more on record. Existing recent blood tests from a physician might satisfy carriers instead of their own testing.

If an exam is necessary, it's typically a 20- to 30-minute appointment with a paramedic examiner at your house or workplace in the Lawndale area, at no cost to you. A strong exam result often improves your rate classification, so an exam is not automatically bad news.
