Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. The tool needs gender, date of birth, general health level, tobacco use, coverage amount, and term length. These six points give you carrier rates. Contact details—name, address, full health history—are only collected if you decide to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

They're the rates each carrier provides for the health tier you selected. The carrier sets the final premium after underwriting, which can keep it the same, improve it, or adjust it. This website is not an insurance offer or price guarantee.

What happens when I click Apply?

You give your name, and we create the application from your exact quote choice, then hand you to the carriers' secure application. You can stop, come back, and finish later; you sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), processes the application.

Will I need a medical exam?

It depends on the carrier, amount, and your answers. Many companies now offer immediate approval for eligible applicants without an exam. Your quote shows whether each product typically requires an exam, might need one, or doesn't.

Is a longer term better?

A term should cover the years when losing your income would hurt your household: the mortgage, children's years at home, loans tied to your business. Longer terms cost more monthly but lock in the rate for longer. The tool lets you compare 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years side by side.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The tool doesn't collect contact information, we don't buy, sell, or share visitor information, and our measurement is cookieless. The privacy page lists exactly what's collected and who gets it.
